A Northern Virginia Wedding Venue Picture Perfect Details

Finding the right Northern Virginia wedding venue for your special day can be a daunting task.  If you’re like many people, you’ve probably been planning your wedding for a long while and you understandably want every detail to be perfect.  If the venue isn’t just right, it’s going to throw everything else off.

If you’ve evaluated a number of possible locations and found them to be wanting, we’d like to recommend Blue Valley.  We’re one of just a handful of family-owned and operated wineries in the state, and over the years, we’ve become one of the most popular Northern Virginia wedding venues.

Part of that has to do with the extraordinary views the area offers.  Sitting in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Valley is one of the most beautiful locations imaginable, offering unforgettable views that will add magic and majesty to your wedding celebration.

Another part though has to do with our state-of-the-art facilities.  We’ve carefully designed a number of venue spaces that are ideal for gatherings of all sorts, from festive parties to corporate retreats and of course, weddings.  Here are just a few of the great spaces we have available:

The Traditions Room

With a private bar, high ceilings and access to our spacious veranda, this venue is a fantastic option for people who want to give their guests the option of taking the fun either indoors or out, weather permitting.  The room features a large number of windows which gives it a bright, airy feel while providing picturesque views of the vineyard itself.  It’s large enough to accommodate up to 80 guests.

The Heritage Room

Enjoy a glass of sparkling Blue Valley wine with up to sixty of your guests in the lovely Heritage room!  Beautiful chandeliers and skylights provide a warm, golden glow to this room, which is enhanced by two very different views from the expansive windows.  On one side, you can see our lovely vineyard, and on the other, you’re treated to a fabulous view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  In addition to that, from here, you have direct access to our Sunset Terrace, providing a wonderful mix of indoor and outdoor access.  A fabulous Northern Virginia wedding venue for smaller wedding parties and receptions.

The Celebrations Room

Our largest space, the Celebrations Room serves as our main wine tasting room and can accommodate in excess of 200 people.  It boasts two different bars, both hand-crafted from two-hundred-year-old oak harvested from the estate itself, and then handcrafted into the functional works of art you see on display in the room.

The two bars are complimented by Bistro lights, high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and a cozy fireplace.  The room also offers a trio of large flat-screen TVs in case you want to show your guests a memorable video or two of you and your intended, and on top of that, its large windows offer stunning views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  This is a fantastic option for large wedding parties, and if you need even more space, ask us about the Loft which —which we’ll talk about below—is a good choice to book in tandem with this room, since the Loft looks down into the Celebration Room.

The Loft

The Loft provides a great view of the Celebration Room which sits below it on one side, and a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the other.  It features unique and beautiful chandeliers and a stunning marble fireplace that must be seen to be fully appreciated.  Capable of accommodating up to 120 guests, it’s perfect for all but the largest weddings.

The Bridal Suite

Although your wedding day is undoubtedly a time of joy, it can also be incredibly stressful and make you feel like things are verging on spinning out of control.  Planning the perfect day isn’t easy.  There are a million different details to attend to, and no matter how organized you are, on the actual day of the wedding, it’s easy for relative calm to turn to panic.

That’s exactly why we offer our beautifully appointed Bridal Suite.  It gives the bride to be a perfect place to escape to for a little while to re-center, while still being close enough to the action to re-engage as needed.

If none of the spaces above are exactly what you’re looking for, we’ve got others besides.  Our recommendation is to bring a few of your closest friends and plan to spend the day with us enjoying a wine tasting so you can evaluate each option for yourself.

If you’d like to enjoy some fabulous music while you’re touring the estate, be sure to check our event calendar because we host local and regional musicians at regular intervals.  We’re open most holidays, but please note that we are closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.  Our hours of operation vary slightly between peak season and the winter season, and are as follows:

Peak Season Hours of Operation (April through November)

Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Friday through Sunday:  11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Winter Season Hours of Operation (December through March)

Monday through Thursday:  11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Friday through Sunday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
