A Winery Wedding Near Washington DC – An Unforgettable Experience

Do you have a wedding on the horizon? We are sure that it’s most likely something you’ve been thinking about for a long time. If you’re like most American women, you probably began thinking about your wedding day at a young age and even created a scrapbook to act as a repository for all your ideas.

As years passed and technology advanced, you most likely swapped in your scrapbook for a Pinterest or other social media account. Still, the idea remained the same, and you’ve probably considered practically every aspect of your special day. For example, where the wedding will take place, where the reception will take place, the setting of the bachelor and bachelorette parties, the wedding rehearsal dinner etc.

If you haven’t decided on a venue for some of the aforementioned features, may we suggest a venue for your winery wedding near Washington DC? It’s none other than the lovely Blue Valley.

First, we’d like to point out that Blue Valley is one of only a few family-owned vineyards in Virginia. For us, winemaking has been a family tradition for three generations, dating back to Greece.

Don’t just take our word for it. Experience our wines for yourself and enjoy the day wandering the grounds and exploring our event areas to see whether this is the perfect setting for your winery wedding celebration. What kind of setting do you want for your wedding reception? We have two terrific solutions for you if you want something with a rustic aesthetic.

Our Barrel Room is a large area that can seat up to 120 guests. It also has a lot of unique elements, such as stunning chandeliers and hand-carved stonework that adorns the walls. When you go into this room, you’ll feel as if you are entering a medieval castle.

If that’s too much space for you, you’ll enjoy The Cave, our minimalistic and most private venue, which can accommodate only 40 people. It is a space that appears to be from another era, with hand-laid stones, a modest number of wine barrels, farm tables, and candle-draped chandeliers. It’s a genuinely lovely place.

If, on the other hand, you want something open, modern, and elegant, the Celebrations room or the Loft that overlooks it would be excellent choices, with the Celebrations room seating up to 200 guests and the Loft seating up to 120. If you’re planning a huge winery wedding near Washington DC, why not book them both to ensure you have enough space?
