It’s a big decision and one of those make or break details that can either leave you with the perfect, storybook wedding you’ve always dreamed of having or, worst case, the wrong venue can leave your special day feeling incomplete or just ‘off.’

Don’t worry if you haven’t heard of us before. As one of just a handful of family owned and operated wineries in the state of Virginia, we’re one of the region’s best kept secrets. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, we’ve lovingly built our winery over the past two decades, beginning when we purchased a portion of a larger estate that once belonged to none other than John Marshall, who served as the fourth Chief Justice on the US Supreme Court.
That fact gives our little patch of paradise more than just spectacular views and a fairytale-like setting, but it also means that the area itself has a rich and colorful history, so if you or your intended are history buffs, that fact will be very much to your liking.
The perfect wine vineyard wedding though, needs more than just a picturesque setting, which is why we’ve worked hard to create a number of interesting and varied venue spaces. Here, you’ll find a little something for everyone.
If you’re planning a rustic, intimate gathering, for example, our tiny Cave room might be perfect for you. It’s only large enough to accommodate about 40 guests and setting foot into the space will transport you to another age. If you like the rustic look and feel but need more space, then our Barrel Room is probably what you’re looking for.
At the other end of the spectrum, if you’re looking for something modern and elegant and have a much larger wedding planned, then our massive Celebrations room is one you’ll definitely want to take a closer look at. It’s a vast, open space capable of accommodating 200+ guests and if you have a larger wedding than that planned, we recommend also booking the Loft, which overlooks the Celebrations room and can accommodate an additional 120 individuals.
If your tastes run to the more traditional or if you’ve got a medium-sized wedding planned and the Celebrations room would simply be more space than you need, then our Heritage and Traditions rooms are both well worth a look.
The bottom line is, whatever your needs, tastes and preferences are, we’ve got a venue space for you. Having said that, you can’t really plan a wine vineyard wedding by reading about your options online. If you want to really know if a given venue is perfect for what you have in mind, there’s only one thing to be done. You’ve got to gather a few friends and come see each of the options for yourself.
