Corporate Event Venue Near Washington DC with History and a View

Are you the person in charge of finding the right venue space for your next corporate retreat or gathering?  Are you tired of having your corporate events at the same old boring hotel convention center every year?

If you answered yes to either of those questions, then you’re going to love this article and we’d like to recommend Blue Valley if you’re looking for a new corporate event venue near Washington DC.  Not only does Blue Valley offer an unbeatable combination of a rich history, paired with unforgettable views, but we’ve also carefully developed a number of corporate event venues near Washington DC that are well-suited to a variety of purposes.  We’ll give you an overview of some of these just below:

The Celebrations Room

Capacity: 200+ guests

This vast, elegant space has a lot to offer and is the ideal choice if you’re planning a large corporate event.  Among other things, it boasts not one but two bars, both made from 200-year old oaks harvested right on the property, then hand-made by Yianni Zissios.

The room is filled with expansive glass windows that offer spectacular mountain views, and you’ll find a trio of flat screen TVs if you’d like to incorporate A/V into whatever type of event you’re planning.  On top of that, you’ll find a cozy fireplace, fun Bistro lights and high ceilings with exposed wooden beams that give the room both elegance and charm.

The Loft

Capacity: 120 guests

Given the loft’s second floor perch, it offers even more spectacular and panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the room’s numerous windows.  In addition to that, the space sports a large marble fireplace which draws the eye and is sure to be one of the more popular places your attendees will gravitate toward.

Plus, you’ll find gorgeous chandeliers and a highly customizable space that can be tweaked depending on exactly what kind of event you’re planning.  If you have an especially large event in mind, we recommend booking the Loft and the Celebrations Room together as the Loft overlooks the Celebrations room.

If you don’t need anything quite so large, or if you’re looking for a different aesthetic from your corporate event venue near Washington DC, we have a couple of other rooms to consider that may be more to your liking.  These are:

The Traditions Room

Capacity: 80 guests

Graced with a number of windows which gives this space a bright, airy feel, the Traditions Room also offers direct access to our spacious veranda, which gives it a great indoor/outdoor feel that provides unforgettable views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the veranda side, while offering a lovely view of our vineyard from the opposite side.  You may even catch sight of some of our farm animals as they meander across your field of view. A lovely room decorated in an understated traditional style that is a perfect space for any medium-sized event.

The Heritage Room

Capacity: 60 guests

The Heritage Room is slightly smaller than our Traditions room, which makes it a fantastic choice as a for a smaller corporate event venue near Washington DC.  The room features an absolutely stunning stone fireplace, beautiful chandeliers and skylights to give it an airy feel. The windows on one side offer an unforgettable view of the Blue Ridge Mountains while the other offers a view of the vineyard itself.

Even better, this space has direct access to our Sunset Terrace so your guests can move the festivities outdoors if they’d like to and the weather permits.  A wonderful, cozier space that provides a nice contrast to some of our more expansive rooms.

While there’s certainly value in these descriptions, written words are no substitute for seeing these spaces firsthand, so if the descriptions above have sparked your interest and you’d like to know more, why not plan to spend the day with us.  While you’re here, you can enjoy a wine tasting and get a much better feel for each space to determine if one of them is perfect for whatever type of event you’ve got planned.

Also note that in addition to the ones described above, we’ve got two other venue spaces, both with a decidedly more rustic feel, so if you’d prefer a very different sort of aesthetic, be sure to check out our Barrel Room and the Cave, as well!

If you’re planning to come visit during our peak season, which runs from April through November, our hours of operation are:

  • Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Friday through Sunday:  11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

If you’re planning to come during the winter season, which runs from December through March, our hours of operation are:

  • Monday through Thursday:  11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Friday through Sunday:  11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Although we are open during most holidays, please note that we are closed on both Christmas and New Year’s Day.  Don’t hesitate to give us a call if you have any questions prior to coming out to join us, and if you’re interested in music at all, be sure to check our event calendar prior to scheduling your trip.  We host local and regional musicians on a regular basis and adding musical accompaniment to your day with us is a great way to give your outing a fun, festive feel. Either way, we look forward to seeing you.
