If you’ve never been to Blue Valley, you’re in for a real treat. Our winery is nestled in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which provides a picturesque, storybook setting for your day. Each season brings new wonders to behold, so if you fall in love with the area the first time you visit, be sure to come back to see us at various points throughout the year. The first time you come up during the autumn to witness the changing of the leaves with us, you’ll be absolutely enchanted and amazed.
Of course, if you come for one of our Christmas winery tours, then you’ll be treated to a winter wonderland filled with sparkling holiday décor, both inside and out. If you’ve been tasked with planning a wedding, bachelor party, reception, corporate retreat or other event, while you’re enjoying the tour, be sure to take mental notes as you’ll get a firsthand look at the various venue spaces we make available for events. We’ve got something for every taste and preference and you’re sure to find the perfect venue space for whatever sort of event you may be planning.
Our Christmas winery tours also take you behind the curtain so you can see our winemaking process and state of the art production facility for yourself. Then, of course, at the conclusion of the tour, you’re sure to have worked up quite an appetite, so feel free to join us for a meal. Our menu is filled with a variety of wholesome and delicious foods that are a perfect compliment to the wines you can also enjoy.
Speaking of wines, no Christmas winery tour of Blue Valley would be complete without a wine tasting and we have a number of exceptional vintages to sample and enjoy. Although written descriptions are no substitute for an actual tasting, we’ll outline a few of the vintages you’ll be able to sample here to whet your appetite for the day you come out to visit us. 2014 Heritage

A delicious blend composed of 67% Chardonnay, 22% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Pinot Gris, and 5% Viognier, it will please your palate with its variety of citrus and orchard fruit flavors.
2017 Memories

This vintage is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier with 1.4% residual sugar. It presents aromas of melon and honeysuckle and delights the palate with a sweet, crisp, well-rounded body.
2018 Estate Chambourcin Rose

With aromas of wet bluestone, red cherry and pomegranate and a candied fruit flavor, this rose is simply unforgettable.
2015 Celebration Red Blend

- Silver Medal – INDY International Wine Competition
Our 2015 Celebration Red is a blend of 60.1% Merlot, 35% Cab Franc, and 4.9% Petit Verdot. It is a very bright ruby red with crisp acidity. It’s medium bodied with a tannin structure, featuring flavors of plumb, violet and both red and black berries.
2015 Remembrance
This wonderful vintage is made from a blend of estate grown Chambourcin (75%) combined with Vidal Blanc (25%) with 2.4% residual sugar. It features opening flavors of blueberry, raspberry and a hint of oak. If served chilled, it will enhance the acidity and bring out hints of citrus and crab apple flavors.
