Embark on a Wine Tasting Adventure near Washington, DC

Are you looking for a fun adventure to enjoy with your best friends?  Are you tired of hitting the same old places and doing the same things?  If you answered yes to either of those questions and are looking for a fun way to break out of the entertainment rut you find yourself in, have you considered enjoying a wine tasting near Washington DC?  If so, may we recommend Blue Valley?

Ours is one of only a handful of family owned and operated vineyards in the state of Virginia.  Nestled in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Valley was once part of the much larger John Marshall estate, who served as the fourth Chief Justice on the United States Supreme Court, so the area has a rich history, paired with simply stunning views you won’t soon forget.

Even better, if you decide to join us for the afternoon, in addition to the wine tasting near Washington DC itself, if you’re a music lover, be sure to check our event calendar before planning your trip as we host local and regional musicians on a regular basis.  It’s a great way to add a little something extra to the day!

In addition to that, if you’re interested in learning more about how we craft our award winning wines, we also offer tours of our 20,000+ square foot production facility.  Part of the tour also takes you through many of the venue spaces we rent out for special occasions, so if you’re planning an exclusive party, a wedding, or a corporate retreat or some other type of event, you’ll have an opportunity to check out our venue spaces for yourself to see if there’s something that catches your eye.

Each of our seven event spaces are sumptuously appointed and feature a very different aesthetic.  They range in size from intimate spaces that can accommodate up to 40 guests, to much more expansive spaces that can play host to 200+ event attendees, so there’s something for everyone on offer.

If all of that has piqued your interest and you’d like to spend the day with us enjoying a delightful wine tasting near Washington DC, our hours of operation are as follows:

Although we are open during most holidays, please note that we are closed on both Christmas and New Year’s Day.  Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions, and we look forward to seeing you!
