Our state indeed has no shortage of options in the matter of venues, but if you’re like most people in Virginia, you must have got tired of visiting the same places over and over. So, why not think outside the box this time? Consider spending the day at a prestigious Virginia winery. Blue Valley seems to be a great place to start if you have never been there.
Ours is one of the only a few Virginia wineries that is family-owned and operated. Our winery has won numerous awards since its inception, and if you’d like to sample the delectable wines we produce, we host year-round wine tastings right on our property. We also regularly host area musicians who provide live music for our guests, so check out our event calendar and plan your day accordingly if you’d like to enjoy some great music with your wine.
Suppose you’d like to learn more about our winemaking process. In that case, we also provide tours of our expansive production facility, including some of the venue spaces we make available for corporate retreats, social gatherings, weddings, and other events. We’ll show you The Cave Room and the Barrel Room, among other things.
As the name implies, the Barrel Room is one of the locations where we store our American and French oak barrels to age our wine effectively. The room also has hand-carved stone embroidery and can hold up to 120 guests. So if you’re arranging a social event of any kind and want a charmingly themed area, this is a beautiful option.
If you can believe it, the Cave Room is much more thematic than the Barrel Room. It’s a considerably smaller space with candle-draped lanterns and farm tables, as well as a limited number of wine barrels, and it gives a hidden, intimate atmosphere for family and friends to meet in, with a Medieval air.
