Go Behind the Scenes with a Virginia Winery Tour

Do you have an interest in winemaking?  If so, you’ve probably taken a number of Virginia winery tours to get a behind the scenes look at the process.  While the process itself is similar from one winery to another, the particulars often vary in fascinating ways.  If you’ve been to our estate for one of our wine tastings and are interested to learn more about how we do what we do, we invite you to round out your experience with us by participating in one of our Virginia winery tours!

If you choose to do so, we’ll guide you through our ten-thousand-square-foot production facility, our barrel room and ‘the cave,’ and while we’re showing you around, we’ll tell you all about our winemaking process and a bit of family history.  Our family has been making wine for three generations, after all, and we’re one of only a handful of family-owned wineries here in the state of Virginia, so we definitely have a story to tell!

We’re happy to offer group Virginia winery tours too, so if you’d like to bring a few, or even several friends with you, we’d love that too!

If you’ve never been to one of our wine tastings before, that’s a great way to start things off, and during peak season, we frequently have live music and other forms of entertainment.  If you’re interested, be sure to check out our event calendar and plan your day with us accordingly.  For your convenience, here are our hours of operation:

Peak Season Hours:

Although we are open during most holidays, although we are closed on both Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Here’s another hidden advantage to spending the day with us.  If you’re planning a party, social event, wedding, or looking for a venue for your next corporate gathering, we’ve got a number of fabulous options available.  Coming out to spend the day with us is a great way to check out the possibilities for yourself and get a feel for the various event spaces we have available.

The combination of fantastic views of the winery itself against the backdrop of the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, combined with good food, great wine and live music offered at regular intervals makes a day at the winery a splendid choice.

Unplug for a little while and get away to the mountains.  We’d love to see you.  If you have any questions before heading this way, just give us a call.  We look forward to speaking with you!
