Learn About Winemaking with Northern Virginia Winery Tours

Are you tired of hanging out at all your usual haunts with your family and friends?  Looking for an interesting, way to enjoy the day together that’s a little off the beaten path?  If you answered yes to either of those questions, may we recommend Northern Virginia winery tours as an interesting alternative?

Blue Valley is one of just a handful of family owned wineries in Virginia, and in the more than two decades since we opened our doors, our fine wines have won more than twenty-four thousand awards.  If you’re curious to learn about the process and see how we make the magic, we’d love to show you our production facilities!

Our production facility spans more than twenty-thousand square feet, and in addition to that, we’ve lovingly crafted seven venue spaces you can make use of to host your next social event or corporate retreat.  Over the years, we’ve even hosted a number of weddings here. Taking one of our Northern Virginia winery tours is a great way to get a firsthand look at those venue spaces so you can get a sense of what they offer.  One of them might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Here’s another question:  How long has it been since you enjoyed a wine tasting?  If it’s been a while, or if you’ve never had the pleasure, that’s a great way to wrap up your Northern Virginia winery tour, sample our selection for yourself and enjoy some of our fantastic food.

We even host local and regional musicians on a regular basis, so if you’d like some musical accompaniment while you’re touring the grounds and enjoying your wine, be sure to check our event calendar before scheduling your trip out to spend the day with us.

Although we are open during most holidays, please note that we are closed on both Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Our lovely winery is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and offers unforgettable views that offer a perfect compliment to the wine, food, and music.

We created the winery when we purchased a significant portion of an estate that once belonged to John Marshall, who served as the fourth Chief Justice to the US Supreme Court, so the area is not just beautiful, it’s also steeped in history.  If you’re intrigued and want to know more before planning your trip, please feel free to give us a call!
