If you’ve never had the pleasure, or if it’s been a while, Blue Valley is a vineyard like no other. We’re one of just a handful of family owned wineries in the state, and Blue Valley was built on a portion of the John Marshall estate, who was the fourth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
In addition to being nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and offering spectacular, unforgettable views, it’s also steeped in history, which makes a visit here a one of a kind experience you’ll be reminiscing about with your friends for years to come.
Would you like some musical accompaniment while you enjoy our award-winning wine and good, wholesome food? If so, we host a variety of local and regional musicians on a regular basis, so be sure to check our event calendar before planning your trip.
Although we are open during most holidays, please note that we are closed on both Christmas and New Year’s Day.
Not only is a Northern Virginia wine tasting a fantastic way to spend a day with family and friends, if you’re planning a wedding or other social event, or even a corporate retreat, spending time on the estate grounds is a great way to get a firsthand look at the venue spaces we make available for those types of occasions.
We have seven venue spaces, all told, each offering a unique aesthetic and varying in size from being able to accommodate up to 40 guests in our smallest space, to more than 200 in our largest.
In addition to that, we also offer tours of our production facility, which gives you a behind the scenes look at how we make our award-winning wines. It’s a great prelude to the wine tasting itself!
