Our vineyard was built on part of what was once a much larger estate belonging to John Marshall, the fourth Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, so not only is the area steeped in history, it also offers the perfect setting for a corporate retreat or other events where outdoor space is needed. The views alone will ensure that your guests don’t soon forget the experience!
Of course, even if you’re looking for the perfect Northern Virginia outdoor event space, odds are that at some point, you’ll also need access to some indoor facilities, and Blue Valley offers both. We’ve got a broad range of spaces available capable of accommodating events of all sizes. We’ll mention just a couple here to give you an idea of what you can expect.
The Heritage Room
This space offers a little bit of everything: Spectacular views, high ceilings with skylights and beautiful chandeliers overhead and a big, cozy stone fireplace.
The room also offers access to the Sunset Terrace, giving you the option to move seamlessly between the indoors and out as your event unfolds. This space can accommodate up to sixty guests, so if you’re planning a larger gathering, it may not be enough space, but for small to medium-sized events, it’s absolutely perfect.
The Traditions Room
This delightful room has high ceilings, a private bar and it provides direct access to our spacious veranda which makes it an ideal choice for people who want a mix of indoor and outdoor access.
There are a vast number of windows in the room which gives it a bright, airy feel while simultaneously providing exquisite views of the vineyard itself and the occasional animal that may wander by. With a capacity of 80 guests, it may be exactly what you’re looking for.

Just about any time is fine, and we offer both wine tastings and tours of our production facilities which will give you an in-depth look at everything we have to offer. We’re open most holidays, but please note that we are closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.
