If you’re planning on getting married in the near future and you’ve been struggling to find the perfect venue for your special day, you may have done a Google search for ‘wedding vineyards near me’ or a similar phrase, which led you to discover our little winery.
Tucked away in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Valley is an ideal wedding venue for those who are looking for a magical, memorable storybook setting. The views of the mountains up here are simply unforgettable and must be seen firsthand to be truly appreciated!
Of course, a storybook setting is only part of the equation. In order to do your special day justice, the facilities at the vineyard in question have to be up to the task and every bit the equal of the views. Ultimately, most people who search on the term ‘wedding vineyards near me’ or similar are at least as interested in the details of the venue spaces on offer as anything else.
On that front, you’ll find a lot to like at Blue Valley. We offer a variety of different venue spaces, all carefully cultivated and designed to cater to a variety of event sizes, tastes and preferences. If you’re looking for something modern and elegant for a large wedding, you may want to consider either of thse options, or both in the case of a very large wedding:
The Celebrations Room
Capacity: 200+ guests
This is the largest venue space we have available. When not booked for other purposes, we use it as our main wine tasting room. It is a vast, open and elegant and the perfect choice for the very largest parties. Among other things, it boasts not one but two bars, both made from 200-year old oaks harvested right on the property!
The room is filled with expansive glass windows that offer an unforgettable view of the mountains, and the space sports not one, but three large flat screen TVs that will allow you to incorporate A/V elements into your party if you wish to do so.
In addition to that, you’ll find a cozy fireplace, fun Bistro lights and high ceilings with exposed wooden beams that give the room both elegance and charm.
Capacity: 120 guests
Given the loft’s second floor perch, it offers even more spectacular and panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the room’s numerous windows. On top of that, the space features a large marble fireplace which draws the eye and is sure to be one of the more popular places your guests will gravitate toward.
It doesn’t stop there though. The room is also graced by gorgeous chandeliers and is highly customizable, allowing you to tweak it to be a perfect fit for just about any type of party you have in mind. If you’re planning a positively huge wedding and reception, and you want to ensure that you’ve got plenty of room, we recommend booking both this space and our Celebrations Room.
Do your tastes tend to run to the more rustic? If so, we’ve got two great rustic options available that are well worth your time and consideration. They are:
Capacity: 40 guests
The cave is our smallest venue space and far and away our most rustic. It is a room that seems to exist in another place and time, adorned with hand laid stonework, farm tables, a small collection of wine barrels and candle-draped chandeliers. It’s a magical space and ideal for small, intimate parties.
The Barrel Room
Capacity: 120 guests
The centerpiece of the room is, of course, the rows of French and American barrels where our wines sit aging gracefully, but the room offers a number of other stand-out features as well, including gorgeous chandeliers and hand carved stonework embroidering the walls. You’ll feel like you’ve entered a medieval castle when you step into this space.
Are you more of a traditionalist? If none of the venue spaces we’ve talked about thus far are exactly what you had in mind, then one of these spaces might be perfect for you:
The Traditions Room
Capacity: 80 guests
This space is notable because of its many windows that give it a bright, airy feel. It offers direct access to our spacious veranda, which gives it a great indoor/outdoor feel that provides unforgettable views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the veranda side, while offering a lovely view of our vineyard from the opposite side.
The Heritage Room
Capacity: 60 guests
If the Traditions room is too big for your purposes, the slightly smaller Heritage Room might be an ideal choice. The room features an absolutely stunning stone fireplace, beautiful chandeliers and skylights to give it an airy feel. The windows on one side offer an unforgettable view of the Blue Ridge Mountains while the other offers a view of the vineyard itself.
Even better, this space has direct access to our Sunset Terrace so your guests can move the festivities outdoors if they’d like to and the weather permits. A wonderful, cozier space that provides a nice contrast to some of our more expansive rooms.
Whichever space you select, be aware that we also offer a Bridal Suite to give harried brides to be a place to escape to as preparations unfold on the Big Day. It’s far enough from the hustle and bustle to give brides to be a safe haven to recenter themselves in, but close enough to the action that they can keep a finger on the pulse of every aspect of their wedding.
While these descriptions have value, simply searching for ‘wedding vineyards near me’ online and reading about these spaces can only get you so far. There’s really no substitute for an in-person visit and an opportunity to walk the grounds yourself to get a feel for what Blue Valley has to offer.
To that end, why not grab a few of your friends and head this way for a wine tasting and tour? It’s a wonderful place to spend an afternoon and you’ll get to sample a wide variety of our award winning vintages. Who knows? You might even discover a new favorite that can become your wedding party’s celebration wine.

Over the years, we’ve hosted scores of weddings, receptions, Christmas parties, corporate retreats and the like. We’ve helped hundreds of people ring in the New Year here in the mountains and we’d love to play a supporting role in making your special day absolutely unforgettable.
