Start the Season with Christmas Vineyard Tours

Are you looking for a fantastic and unforgettable way to spend part of the Christmas season this year?  How about spending part of it with us, here at Blue Valley? Haven’t heard of Blue Valley? That’s not a huge surprise.  Nestled in the shadow of the Blue Ridge mountains, we’re a little off the beaten track and one of the best kept secrets in the state.

Although many people love visiting us in the autumn to see the changing of the leaves, we get no shortage of winter visitors and we offer Christmas vineyard tours that will leave you, your family and your friends smiling.

If you’ve ever wondered how winemakers do what they do, this is your opportunity to get a firsthand look!  Our 20,000 square foot production facility is state of the art and we’ll walk you through our process, which is based on Greek wine making traditions that have been in our family for generations.

A great compliment to our Christmas vineyard tours is, of course, taking the time out to enjoy a wine tasting, which will give you the opportunity to sample some of our award-winning vintages for yourself and find out what makes Blue Valley so special.  We’ve also got a menu loaded with wholesome and delicious food items to enjoy with your wine, so when you come to spend the day with us, be sure to bring your appetite!

Are you planning a wedding, reception, corporate retreat or other party?  If so, and you’ve found the hotel convention scene to be boring and overdone, while you’re here, be sure to check out our venue spaces.

We have seven spaces in all, including a deluxe Bridal Suite we make available to brides to be who need a safe haven to retreat to in advance of their special day, and whatever sort of event you’re planning, we’ve got a space that’s perfect for you.

Bring your friends and enjoy one of our Christmas vineyard tours, but stay for the food and sparkling wine.  For your convenience, our winter season hours of operation are as follows:

Winter Season Hours of Operation (December through March)

Monday through Thursday:  11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Friday through Sunday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Please note, however, that we are closed on Christmas and New Year’s Day.

If you’ve already got your Christmas plans firmed up this year and will be unable to join us until spring, that’s fine too, though note that our peak season hours of operation are slightly different.  They are as follows:

Peak Season Hours of Operation (April through November)

Friday through Sunday:  11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Whenever you plan to visit, we certainly look forward to it!
