Virginia Wine Tasting While Taking in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Are you looking for a fun, leisurely way to spend an afternoon?  There are a lot of great options to choose from, but if you’d like to spend a day soaking up the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, enjoying good food and great wine, we’d like to invite you to come join us for a good, old fashioned Virginia wine tasting!

Come to Blue Valley; we’re one of only a handful of family-owned and operated wineries in the region, and we’d love to spend the day with you.  In fact, if you’d like to enjoy the day with musical accompaniment, we host local musicians on a regular basis, so be sure to check our event calendar and plan your trip accordingly.  For your reference, here’s a copy of our hours of operation:

Peak-Season Hours – April through November:

  • Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Friday through Sunday: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Off-Season Hours:

  • Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Friday through Sunday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Although we are open during most holidays, we are closed on both Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Do you have an interest in learning more about our winemaking process?  If so, in addition to enjoying a Virginia wine tasting with us, we also offer tours of our expansive production facility.  During the tour, you’ll also get the chance to see some of the venue spaces we make available to our clients, so if you’re interested in hosting a party or other social event, looking for a new space for your next corporate retreat, or if you’re planning a wedding, we have several spaces available that might be perfect for your event!

We understand that there’s no such thing as a one size fits all venue, which is why we offer rooms of all shapes and sizes.  The Cave, for instance, is a smaller, cozy space that’s perfect for more intimate gatherings.  Big enough to accommodate up to 40 guests, simply stepping into the room will transport you back in time to another age.  The room is decorated with candle-draped chandeliers, farm tables and a few wine barrels used to age our wines to perfection.

If your needs are more expansive, our Celebration Room can be made available.  It’s normally used as our main wine tasting room, but some of the most elegant and extravagant weddings in the state have been hosted here.  It has everything you need, from a pair of handcrafted bars to a delightful fireplace and even a trio of flat-screen TVs if you want to show your guests a video as part of the afternoon’s fun.

Plan your Virginia wine tasting today and please call us if you have a need for venue space for whatever event you’re planning!
