Why Are Northern Virginia Wines Special?

We manufacture some of the top class wines in the world at Blue Valley. We are one of the state’s only family-owned and operated wineries, and we are proud to be a part of the state’s winemaking legacy. We bought an estate over twenty years ago and meticulously converted it into a winery, following the example of our forefathers, who have been making wine for almost three generations.

The secret to our excellent Virginia wines’ brilliance, and the reason they’ve received so many honors, comes down to two things: patience and attention to detail. However, Blue Valley’s popularity as a vacation and day-trip destination goes far beyond our excellent and refreshing Northern Virginia wines. It also has a lot to do with the attitude with which those wines are created.

We’ve taken our winemaking skills from Greece and transplanted them here in the Shenandoah Valley. We abide by our Greek values, which emphasize respect, unity, and hospitality. It is our utmost aim to treat visitors from all over the state and country like family.

We also provide tours inside our production facilities if you want to go behind the scenes and see how our wine is made. If you’re planning a wedding or other social event or are searching for a venue for your next business gathering, we have several spots available. Our winery tour is a terrific opportunity to wander through those great venue areas and get a genuine feel for them while you’re enjoying the sights.

Furthermore, we feature professional musicians from the area regularly. If you’re looking for some accompanying music for your day, be careful to check our event schedule for concerts and other activities you might be interested in and arrange your visit appropriately.

We are convinced that after your first visit, you will be addicted to the ambience we provide at Blue Valley, and you will be delighted to learn that each new season brings fresh wonders for you to behold. So, we are confident that you will undoubtedly plan to come on other seasons of the year and devote much more time with us. If you’ve never been here to watch the leaves transform in the autumn, we hope you’ll love to join us then as well because it is when Mother Nature puts on an incredible display that should not be missed!

The bottom line is that Blue Valley is a fantastic destination to explore if you’re seeking an exciting day of exploration and excitement while enjoying Northern Virginia wines. Are you wondering how to contact us? For that, all you have to do is fill out the contact form on our website and soon after that, one of our tour operators will get in touch with you.
