Yes, we do require a valid and current photo ID with date of birth for tastings and purchases. No one under the age of 21 is permitted by law to purchase or consume alcohol anywhere on our property.

Hours of operation during peak season from April 1st through November 30th are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Friday-Sunday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Hours of operation during non-peak season from December 1st through March 30th are Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Friday-Sunday 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Yes, well-behaved and leashed pets are welcomed on our deck and grounds.

We welcome walk-in tastings. However reservations are required for groups of 8 or more people.

Yes, our parking lot is large enough to accommodate buses and limo’s of all sizes.

We are a family run business with many grandchildren of our own. Please feel free to bring your children.

Tours of our 20,000 sq ft. tasting and wine-making facility are available by reservation.

– Tours with no tasting: $10/person.

– Tour and full tasting (for groups of <8 people): $30/person

– Tour and group tasting (8 or more people): $25/person

*Tours and Tastings includes a personalized tour and a tasting flight of wines.

Outside food is permitted anywhere on the property. We also offer a collection of cheeses, meats, spreads, and bread for purchase.

No, ABC laws strictly prohibit other forms of alcohol or wines other than what is sold by Blue Valley Vineyard & Winery.

Yes, we have a designated smoking area on the property. We also sell Cigars on-site in the tasting room. E-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking areas.

Unfortunately we can not accommodate personal music systems at this time. We normally host live music onsite on Saturdays and Sundays from May to September.

Per Virginia State Law, section 18.2-308. “Personal Protection” you may NOT consume alcohol while carrying a concealed weapon, and our business policy also PROHIBITS alcohol consumption while carrying openly as well. This applies to private citizens as well as off-duty Federal, state and local law enforcement officers. If you want to enjoy our wines, please leave your weapon secured in your vehicle.
